Annie Gilleo

Annie Gilleo manages ACEEE’s state-based technical assistance activities and conducts research on energy efficiency resource standards, the utility business model, and other state-level policies. Annie was also the lead author of the 2013-2015 editions of the State Energy Efficiency Scorecard. She joined ACEEE in 2013. Prior to joining ACEEE, Annie held an Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corps Fellowship at the Smithsonian Institution and interned at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, where she focused on federal climate and energy policy. She also served as a Peace Corps volunteer in The Gambia, West Africa. Annie earned a master of public policy from Georgetown University and a bachelor of arts in environmental sciences from the University of California, Berkeley.
