Cathy Lin

Cathy Lin is the Energy Manager and Stormwater Program Administrator for Arlington Public Schools (APS). As the energy manager, Cathy promotes and advocates for renewable energy as part of the school division’s comprehensive energy portfolio, manages and directs various energy efficiency projects, and oversees the school division’s utility budget. As the stormwater program administrator, Cathy is responsible for managing APS’ small, municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) permit. Cathy is a Certified Energy Manager and Stormwater Program Administrator. She is a board member of the Virginia Energy Purchasing Governmental Association (VEPGA). Cathy received her B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie-Mellon University and M.S. in Computer Systems from the Air Force Institute of Technology.
