Engaging the Leaders of Virginia's Energy Transformation
The Second Annual Virginia Clean Energy Summit will present the clean energy technologies, policies, and business practices that are transforming Virginia's energy landscape today.
The goal of the Summit is to highlight opportunities and encourage collaboration that speeds our use of more energy efficiency, solar, wind, storage, EVs, and other clean energy solutions. Conference attendees will include representatives from businesses, state and local governments, academia, and NGOs.
Featuring a Keynote Address by the Honorable Ralph S. Northam, 73rd Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia

At this year's Summit, we have the honor and privilege of hosting the Honorable Ralph S. Northam, who will deliver a keynote address. At last year's Summit, Governor Northam announced Executive Order 43, which tasked the commonwealth's electric systems with producing 30% of electricity from renewable energy sources by 2030 and achieving 100% carbon-free electricity by 2050.
Since the announcement of Executive Order 43, Governor Northam signed the Virginia Clean Economy Act into law. This landmark legislation established additional goals and mechanisms needed to secure the future of renewable energy across the Commonwealth of Virginia. We look forward to hearing more from Governor Northam at this year's Summit.
