Elisa Wood is co-founder and editor-in-chief of Microgrid Knowledge, the world’s largest news and information site dedicated to all things microgrid. She is also co-founder of RealEnergyWriters.com, which produces content for some of the top power companies, trade associations and energy organizations. Elisa has been writing about energy for more than two decades and has contributed widely to S&P Global, Pennwell, AOL, Bloomsbury, and other major publishers. Her blogs have been picked up by CNN, the New York Times blogrunner, the Wall Street Journal Online, USA Today, Reuters, Mother Earth News, Real Clear Energy, the Washington Post and others. Elisa also is the author of many reports, guides, white papers, book contributions and web content. She is known for looking deeply at energy issues with an engaging, accessible writing style. Early in her career, Elisa served as publications director for Emerson College in Boston and worked as a staff writer for daily newspapers in Colorado and Massachusetts.
